The candidates respond

Speaking to supporters on election night, Vindman recalled visiting polling places in Spotsylvania and spoke about the union job that helped his family enter the middle class after arriving in the United States. He also said he would use his second term to hold President Donald Trump accountable. Ollivant said in a Facebook statement that he had contacted Vindman to congratulate him.
