Public Agenda Special Announcement: Introducing In the Public’s Words

Public Agenda has always explored leadership, trust, and the responsibilities of power.

Today, I’m opening a new chapter:

In the Public’s Words: Real Stories, Real Leadership

Every policy, every decision, and every act of leadership touches a life. It is time for those lives to be heard. I am inviting people from all walks of life to share their lived experiences under government, local, state, or federal.

Tell Public Agenda what leadership looks and feels like where you are. Has the public’s trust been earned or broken? How has a public decision shaped your community, your workplace, or your sense of belonging?

In recent months, Public Agenda has extended invitations to public leaders and candidates to share their perspectives on leadership and public trust. To date, none have responded. That silence makes your stories even more essential. The real insights about trust and governance often begin with the people most affected by public decisions.

Your story will help public leaders and institutions understand the real impact of their choices and, more importantly, the people behind the policies. Contributors may remain anonymous if they believe it is in their best interest. Public Agenda respects every voice and every lived experience shared through this platform.

Submit your story:

Share your reflection in 500–800 words by sending it to mail@eleadt.com

with the subject line In the Public’s Words. Selected stories will be featured in future Public Agenda editions, with your voice at the center of the conversation.

Because democracy grows stronger when every story counts, including yours.

If you have questions about whether your story is worthy of being shared, message me and let’s talk.

As always, thank you for your continued support and readership. Together, let’s build something that preserves the people’s truth; together.

Thanks for reading Public Agenda! Subscribe for free to receive new posts and support my work.
