About 30 minutes ago I turned on The Board of Supervisors Meeting and they were already in closed session. You can watch it at https://www.regionalwebtv.com/spotsybos/index.html.
The closed session lasted about an hour and was approved 7-0 afterwards.

On the Agenda included Approval of Tri-Party Agreement and License Agreement for Kalahari Water Tank Easement, Acceptance, Budget Adjustment, Appropriation, and Designation of Authorized Organizational Representatives for the FY 2026 Public Safety Answering Point Additional Next Generation 9-1-1 Grant Award, Approval of Agreement for Purchase and Sale of Compensatory and Wetland Mitigation Credits for Fire Station - Company 12, Approval of Contract to Catalis Tax & CAMA, Inc. to Provide a New Software Solution for Computer-Assisted Mass Appraisal (CAMA) and Property Assessments, Tax Billing and Collections, Cashiering, and Self-Service Web-Portal, Approval of Purchase Order to Carahsoft Technology Corporation for the First Due Platform for Fire & EMS Record Management System,
No items on the Agenda were discussed concerning the building of new Data Centers until the the supervisor’s reports. Chairman Yackabouski invited citizens to a Town Hall tonight he and Lee Hill Supervisor Lauri Hayes are hosting concerning the Data Centers.
In the Supervisor’s reports Supervisor Debra Frazier complemented VDOT for the cutting of the grass along the state roads. She is very concerned about the number of drivers who are disregarding the safety of our country’s children. She emphasized that not stopping for a stop sign and a school bus is a serious matter. Supervisor Jacob Lane mentioned the numerous traffic backups on 208 in the western corridor of Livingston District. He said he was going to contact VDOT on ways to decrease the congestion. Finally, Supervisor Marshall, who a member of the Lake Anna authority, asked for a motion to approve spending $5,000 to increase the number of Carp in Lake Anna to counter the high level of algae. He pointed out that the level of algae in Lake Anna is now at such a high level it is of concern. Louisa County is also going to contribute towards this as well. After discussion the Board approved the motion 7-0.
