Good Morning to Summer and the Summer Solstice 2022!

Good Morning Spotsylvania and welcome to the beginning of Summer and the longest day of the year.  The sun rose at 5:51 am and sunset will be 8:38 am. The total length of daylight will be 14 hours 50 minutes. According to timeanddate.com today is 7 hours 32 minutes longer than the December solstice. The December Solstice or Winter Solstice is of the course the beginning of Winter and the shortest day of the year.  The summer solstice the sun is at it's highest point and in the winter at it's lowest point over the Tropic of Cancer.
