To Our Readers 

I want to apologize to our readers for the recent slowness in producing and publishing editions of The Spotsylvania Gazette.

The delays have resulted from problems in our production process, including inconsistencies in the technology and assistance I have relied on to help produce the newspaper. Ultimately, however, I am responsible for what reaches our readers and when it reaches them.

I know readers expect The Spotsylvania Gazette to be timely, accurate and dependable. I especially appreciate those who have subscribed, donated or otherwise financially supported this newspaper. Your support deserves a publication process that is more consistent.

We are making changes to simplify production, improve reliability and get editions to readers more quickly without sacrificing accuracy or responsible journalism.
