The Beale Diary mentioned in the previous article Prominent Linked Families by Marion Gamble refers to the diary written by Jane Howisen Beale of Fredericksburg Va. The original diary is located in the Fredericksburg Area Museum 905 Princess Anne Street Fredericksburg VA. The Journal of Jane Howison Beale has been published by the Fredericksburg Foundation.
The original diary is one of most significant accounts of the Battle of Fredericksburg in 1862.
