Finals Thoughts on Campaign 2025 

Abigail Spanberger, Grazala Hashmi, and Jay Jones won in Spotsylvania. Nicole Cole upset the longest serving Delegate Bobby Orrock after 36 years. Josh Cole was reelected. We elected 3 New School Board members in Battlefield, Berkeley, and Lee Hill Districts. 1 new Board of Supervisors Candidate in Berkeley and 2 incumbents.

Last evening between 6 and 7 pm we interviewed voters as they came out of Polling place at John J Wright School. We asked question What one thing you like to have accomplished when they enter office? 

Most of the people answered they need to work on reopening the Federal Government and ending the Federal Government Shutdown now the longest in US history. They are looking forward to Abigail getting in there and working on Bread and Butter issues to bring down the high cost of living. A Mother walking by with her small child answered we need to work on safer schools. Nilofer Graza, candidate for the Board of Supervisors Berkeley District said they should work on Full School Funding. 

Finally, as Campaign 2025 ends we look forward to the start of the Midterm elections for the US House of the Representatives and the reelection campaign of Senator Mark Warner.
