1. Why are you running?

 I believe in service and I believe the county needs a public education candidate who is committed to improving lives of working families. 

2. What are the top three issues you want to address in office?

Robust funding for public schools, improve broadband access, and Plan sustainable growth.

3. What is the number 1 issue on the minds of voters in Spotsylvania County?

Uncertainty about their economic future. 

4. What problems are you noticing in the county due to the Federal Government Shutdown?

Increased need for food bank and community based assistance. 

5.  How should we improve education in County? 

Develop a plan to bring teachers pay to par.  Ensure that teachers and students have access to the Tools they need to succeed. 

6. How can the County and or the State improve Mental Health Services?

By maintaining funding and partnering with local organizations.

7. How can we improve funding for Special Education and English Language Learners?

Review the accessibility of grants at state or federal level and if possible partner with local or regional organizations. 

8. What can we as a County do to create affordable housing for our Teachers, Police, Firefighters, first responders, and health care workers?

Increase revenue by ensuring our county is Business friendly while still ensuring businesses contribute to the infrastructure.

9. Is there anything else the voters should know about you? 

I’m accustomed to working in a high pressure environment in Litigation and risk management. I’m very comfortable negotiating. I’m aware that as an elected representative you must represent the interests of everyone.
