How does this affect Spotsylvania County?

The sad fact is between all the newspapers and blogs in the Spotsylvania/Fredericksburg Region we are not covering even half of the news that affects the citizens of this county. If we started to show some enthusiasm for the various academic programs, sports, clubs and activities in our school system we could start to see how hard our Teachers, Students, and Staff are working each and everyday.

Our Government is here for you in more ways than you can imagine! We would love to have more coverage of County issues such as growth, crime, the Data Centers, Affordable Housing etc.

Presently in 11 Days we be voting for School Board and the Board of Supervisors in Battlefield, Berkeley, and Lee Hill Districts, House of Delegates Districts 63, 65, and 66 and the State Wide Offices of Governor, LT Governor, and Attorney General. The Gazette has been covering it for you. In the next few days we be featuring each of the candidates for School Board, Board of Supervisors, and the House of Delegates. The State Wide offices we will do separately.

The Spotsylvania Gazette is powered by the Patch Newspapers. Our mission is to cover Spotsylvania County. We are in need of your help. Our editor has gotten the paper started. His request is to submit ideas for News Stories, News Articles, and Photographs that represent our county.
