THE SPOTSYLVANIA GAZETTE IS LOOKING FOR SPORTS REPORTERS & PHOTOGRAPHERS

Do you love local sports?

The Spotsylvania Gazette is looking for sports reporters and photographers to help us expand coverage of athletics throughout Spotsylvania County.

We want to cover more than Friday-night football.

We need people interested in covering football, volleyball, field hockey, golf, cross country, basketball, wrestling, baseball, softball, soccer, lacrosse, track and field, swimming, tennis, youth sports and other local athletics.

We’re especially interested in reporters and photographers who can help cover:

Chancellor High School
Courtland High School
Massaponax High School
Riverbend High School
Spotsylvania High School

We’re also interested in hearing from student journalists, aspiring sportswriters, photographers, parents, retirees and community members who know local sports and would like to help tell the stories of Spotsylvania’s athletes and teams.

Coverage can include game reports, scores, photographs, athlete and coach interviews, team features and postseason coverage.

Local athletes deserve local coverage.
