A Referendum about Congressional Redistricting will Take Tuesday April 21 2026

The Virginia Supreme Court has spoken and Virginia will vote on redistricting on April 21.

“At a time when several Republican-controlled states are advancing aggressive mid-decade redistricting efforts at the urging of Donald Trump, Virginia faces a real risk of having its representation effectively shaped by national partisan maneuvering rather than by a commitment to fair competition. The proposed amendment is a temporary, emergency response to that national environment.”

Once we get to to 2030 and the Census we will go back to the present Congressional District as they are or determined by the Census. 

This is going to to happen very quickly. Early Voting will begin March 6-April 18 2026.
