Superintendent Mitchell presented the School Budget FY 2026-27

Superintendent Dr Clint Mitchell presented Spotsylvania Public Schools Budget FY 26-27

Last night at the Special Meeting of the Spotsylvania County School Board Dr Mitchell and others laid out the School System’s Budget for the next school year.

He pointed out right from the start of his presentation that this was only the start of the Budget process. Soon there will a Public Meeting, work sessions amongst the Board members, a work session with the Board of Superiors, a joint meeting with the Board of Supervisors and the public, and lots of discussions during School Board meetings.

He said the whole process should be completed sometime in May with the Board voting on the Budget in its final form.
