Governor-Elect Spanberger: “From My Family to Yours, I Wish All Virginians a Restful, Safe, and Merry Christmas.”
RICHMOND, Va. — Governor-elect Abigail Spanberger today released the following statement marking Christmas 2025.
“As Virginians across the Commonwealth gather this Christmas with their family, friends, and loved ones, we also express our gratitude to those who make the holidays possible.
“Virginians thank our servicemembers, National Guardsmen, first responders, law enforcement officers, and healthcare workers who keep our communities safe year-round — and often sacrifice time with their loved ones to do so.
“We also know the holidays are a difficult time for so many in our communities. I hope all Virginians will extend a hand to family, friends, neighbors, and other community members who are struggling at this time of year. May all of our fellow Virginians experience the light of this season.
“From my family to yours, I wish all Virginians a restful, safe, and Merry Christmas.”
