Nicole Cole is the Delegate-Elect for the 66th District in the Virginia House of Delegates. She won the election on November 4, 2025, defeating the 35-year incumbent, Republican Bobby Orrock, in a significant victory for Virginia Democrats. Background and Platform

Before her election as Delegate, Cole served as the Vice Chair on the Spotsylvania County School Board, representing the Battlefield District.

  • She is a small business owner as owner of Nicole Cole and Associates. She a family financial planner. She holds a B.S. in Management from the University of Maryland at College Park and an MBA in Finance from Northwestern University. 

    Her campaign focused on what she calls the "3 E's":Economy, Education, and Environment. She is a strong advocate for fully funded public schools, affordable healthcare, affordable housing, and protecting women's rights. 

    Cole was raised in Virginia and has been an active member of her community for years.  

  • Her win was considered an upset in a district previously considered "lean Republican" and was part of a larger "blue sweep" for Democrats in the Virginia elections, which secured them an additional 64 seat majority in the House of Delegates. The largest Democratic Majority in 40 years.
