2025 Spotsylvania Gazette Voter Guide

Ten Days till Election Day. Early Voting ends next Saturday November 1. The candidates are criss crossing the Battlefield, Berkeley, and Lee Hill Districts for the Spotsylvania County School Board and the Board of Supervisors trying to win the voters approval.

The Spotsylvania Gazette contacted the various candidates this week in order to interview them about the issues facing the county.

The Spotsylvania Gazette wants to first of all thank all of the candidates and their staffs for returning their responses to our questions in a timely manner.

Here are the Questions we asked them. We sent an email and they responded back.

1. Why are you running?

3. What is the number 1 issue on the minds of voters in Spotsylvania County?

4. What problems are you noticing in the county due to the Federal Government Shutdown?

5. How should we improve education in County?

6. How can the County and or the State improve Mental Health Services?

7. How can we improve funding for Special Education and English Language Learners?

8. What can we as a County do to create affordable housing for our Teachers, Police, Firefighters, first responders, and health care workers?

9. Is there anything else the voters should know about you?
